ARCHAMBAULT WINS ENDORSEMENTS OF EXETER, FOSTER, JOHNSTON, NORTH PROVIDENCE AND SMITHFIELD DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEES

Steve Archambault, Democratic candidate for Attorney General, today announced that he has won the endorsements of the Exeter, Foster, Johnston, North Providence and Smithfield Democratic Committees.

Steve Archambault said "I am pleased to have won the support of the people who represent the grassroots of our party in these five cities and towns."

In early April, Archambault won the endorsement of the Association of City and Town Democratic Chairs—winning the endorsement vote with the support of nearly 3-out-of-the-4 chairs who cast ballots.

Archambault, who serves as a Councilman in Smithfield , would bring a broad legal background to the Attorney General's office. He has served as a police officer, local Prosecutor and defense attorney.

Archambault is leading the fight against rate hikes by Blue Cross and other health insurers and has repeatedly called for new tough scrutiny of administrative costs.
